Leave M6 motorway at Junction 42. Follow the A6 into the
city centre (Botchergate) and turn left at the junction
with Victoria Viaduct (beside Woolworths). Cross the
railway bridge and carry straight on at the traffic
lights. Continue over the River Caldew bridge and bear
right onto Charlotte Street. Turn first left onto Randall
Street and you should see the Mitchell Dryers Test Centre
in front of you. Proceed into the car park which is
straight through the gates..
From the north:
Leave M6 motorway at Junction 44. Follow A7 into the city
centre over Eden Bridge. At the large roundabout
(Hardwick Circus), turn right towards Workington and West
Cumbria. Continue along the dual carriageway past the
Castle and Radio Cumbria offices. Cross the River Caldew
and turn left at the traffic lights onto Shaddongate.
Follow Shaddongate up to the traffic lights at Dixon's
Chimney. Turn left here onto Junction Street and proceed
past the Post Office until you reach the junction with
Randall Street (second right). Follow the street down
towards the Mitchell Dryers Test Centre and continue
straight on into the car park.
